Dreams

One of my biggest dreams right now is to travel. Where do I want to go? Brazil, Russia, Paris, Haiti, Jamaica, all fifty states, and so many, many more places. But for now I'm in Indiana. Dreaming.

I had a really hard time coming up with a picture to take for this week's theme. I had to ask myself what my dreams are. I've got many dreams that, in reality, will probably never come true. But when it comes right down to it, my heart's dream has come true. I've fallen in love and married my best friend. We live in a cute, little, blue house out in the country and we have two dogs to keep us company. My heart is full...and while I will continue to dream those big dreams, I am perfectly happy right where God has placed me.

Animals

the dearest little dog on the face of the earth. this is scoobies favorite spot to sleep cause it's so warm. love him.

I had actually planned a completely different picture for this post, but then this father and his two daughters graced me with their presence on my afternoon walk and I loved this picture so much I had to use it. Makes me wish I had a horse!

Love

We are all born for love. It is the principle of existence, and it's only end.
-Benjamin Disraeli

A daffodil is not something most people think about when they hear the word love, but I won't ever look at a daffodil the same way again. I clean for a couple who are around my parent's age. The husband lost his leg in a railroad accident when they were young married and he has a hard time getting around. Last Friday, when I cleaned their house, there was a HUGE bouquet of daffodils on the coffee table and I went off about how beautiful they were. Joni then told me that her husband picks her a bouquet every spring because he knows that's her favorite flower. Knowing how hard that must be for him, it just amazes me. That's love.

Outside

wishing to go barefoot outside again. :)

Crocuses are such brave little flowers. I somehow forget about them. Every year, I think that I can't hardly wait to see the daffodils bloom and then the crocuses show up and I think I may like them better then daffodils. :) Yay, for spring and warmer weather and not being sick any more!
