week # 19

Sorry to our few followers for the long pause. It took us awhile to get back into the groove of normal living after we each got back from our separate Christmas's. We decided to go ahead and share with you our favorite pictures from our vacations (even though Christmas is long passed). Hope you don't mind and hope you enjoy them!

Carmen and the rest of the family went to Florida:

My hubby and I picked up our brand new puppy and headed off to visit my family in PA:

It has become a tradition for our family to make "Christmas cookies" every year. I remember doing it when I was little and now that I'm married, my little sister says that we have to make them together. I really don't mind. :)

Charlie Dog. We litterally brought him home, loaded the car and left for PA. He was only 8 weeks old at the time. But he did really good. He's terribly smart and I easily taught him a handful of things while we were in PA. I love my dog! :)

Some Christmas details. I love my mom's Christmas tree!

Another tradition: taking a picture of the "kids" in front of the Christmas tree. This year, the picture had to include Charlie and Crosby. [notice Charlie's santa hat :)]

Two of my favorite people. Great Aunt Mary and Great Uncle Lloyd. [however, we usually forget about the "great" part.] They are like a 3rd set of grandparents for us...and have become even more special since Grandma has passed away. Since I haven't seen them since Sept. 2007, I was thrilled to be able to spend time with them.

And to close: one last picture of Charlie enjoying a Christmas gift. Why? Just because it make it makes me smile. :)
